This was a beauty that rolled by on the streets of Dresden, Germany.
Luckily, I had my camera ready. This is the Wartburg 311 that was manufactured between 1956-1965 by the East German car manufacturer VEB Automobilwerk Eisenach.
Most East German cars that I have seen as the Trabant 601 Deluxe Universal were rather simple in design, but this one here is looking good. Some nice chrome details, I love those round headlights, and a nice silvery bumper too. And what a flashy two-tone paint job.
There it goes…cruising across one of the local bridges in Dresden.
The Wartburg 311!
