After spending a lovely weekend in Nederland Colorado within a peaceful blizzard, I ran into this gem at the bottom of the descent into Boulder, a blue Porsche 911T (1967-1973) that stood out like a bright sapphire amongst the dirt and mountains.
Sunny and 25 degrees outside, time to take a drive.
I quickly pulled over and turned back to take some shots of this striking Porsche parked next to a pile of chopped up logs.
Here’s a look from a dead on side angle. What an incredible slope down the back of this car. The windows wrapped in chrome form a beautiful shape. What amazing lines.
And now a look head on. The Porsche 911T was introduced in 1967, and replaced the 912 model.
There’s that classic 911 front end.
The rear window is huge. Look at all that glass!!!
Here’s an even closer look.
With all those windows, you would think you could spot a speed trap far far in advance.
A close up of the front end and headlights of this Porsche 911T.
The engine screams…
Drive me! Aimed and ready. Totally poised to go.
Fire it up and roll right on to this windy climb into the mountains.
This front end looks very animated. It looks like it is smiling.
Up close and personal with those headlights.
And finally, a close up of the hood ornament.
So there you have it, a very fun looking blue Porsche 911T brought to you between 1967-1973.
