Perhaps Lada comes to mind first when you think about Russian cars.
But here is another Russian produced automobile made by AZLK known as the Moskvitch 412 in Russia, and as the Moskvich 1500 to the West, this one found in Prague. This particular car is a circa 1970 model. All in all, it was manufactured between the years of 1967-1975.
What a gorgeous shiny green paint job. Great condition for a 40+ year old car from Russia.
I have to say, looks like they were taking notes from the BMW 1800 design.
Cars of today need bigger windows, and more glass in general. I have rented many modern cars over the years, and it seems that visibility shrinks, and the blind spots grow bigger. Nice looking windshield, a great curve to it.
Those are some small blinkers, not sure if I would notice them signalling a turn way down there. I see this car has just 1 side view mirror.
Here is a look from the rear, a beautiful chrome bumper that wraps around into the side. The first modern car that brings back chrome is going to be a hot seller.
Love the chrome strips around the tail lights. I have to say, I love the absence of plastic in older cars.
From this view, it looks like it has some very small fins. Another feature that begs an encore for a modern car design.
There you have it, the Moskvich 1500!
