Every day that I get out, when I am not working inside, I hope to spot an Endangered Car.
I like to expand my side projects. Running errands today, I crossed paths with a BMW I had not seen before, a green BMW 524td that was manufactured during the years 1983-1987.
The question is…has this person come for a break at the Outback Saloon, or checking out the used books store?
This is a BMW I have never seen before…
True indeed, a good looking BMW 524td, the turbocharged diesel. This is a sporty, tough looking sedan.
Nice rims, tinted windows, chrome to contrast, fin, battering ram bumpers. Incredible ride. This car has fantastic proportions. The rear spoiler, the bumper, and even the muffler those tail lights, everything is perfect. Here’s a closer look at the front end of this BMW.
Some classic shapes, and really not too long ago being from the 1980s. We need more chrome on cars today. Not just an emblem. Strips of chrome around windows look wild. Here’s a look from the back, typical boxy BMW from the 1980s…the spoiler definitely adds some edge.
And now from head on…
Those front bumpers are ridiculous. So strong, no the reflectors are fine. Seriously, that is almost a foot of bumper.
Some nice purple tinted glass. I feel whatever year this particular car was, it was a good one.
Here is a look from the other side…the dying years of chrome trimmed windows.
BMW’s look so forthright with the forward angles in the grill.
This car looks like it had safety in mind.
So, there you have it the BMW 524TD built between 1983-1987 in a nice deep green colour.
