Okay, here we have another Citroën spaceship style car.
This time we have (approximately) a 1988 Citroën CX 25 GTI Automatic I found in Prague.
It seems like this is a tough guy version of the CX25 with that mini spoiler, that black rear window cover mechanism, and also the tinted windows definitely add a touch of menace.
Yep, definitely some kind of space-tough mix going on.
I feel like Citroën car designers really like to try and pack in a whole bunch of themes into their cars. Before we saw the luxurious classy version, the Citroën CX 25 Prestige Turbo near Cologne.
I like how the driver pulled it in nice and close to the curb. This baby isn’t rolling anywhere.
Here is a look from the other side angle. The front wheel is totally jammed in there.
Let’s take a look at this baby from the front. A typical aerodynamic look from Citroën.
And lets turn it around. Wow. Would you look at that. ABS, and automatic. Sure, why not stamp on a few features to the body to make sure everyone is aware of the facts.
I find that black plastic rear window shade thing really interesting. I wonder why they bent it. Perhaps to give a wider crack for visibility? Not sure exactly.
Aha, a nice look at those tinted windows which contrast nicely with the white paint.
Here’s a look at a long front hood. I can’t help but feel Citroën was trying to create a sort of French version of the 1980s Firebird Trans Am or a perhaps a Camaro with this GTI. You can see on the hood there is an engine vent. Added toughness?
I don’t know, somehow I think the rear wheel caps take away some of the tough vibe this wonderful Citroën CX 25 GTI Automatic.
