It is sunny summer weather in Boulder Colorado. Time for T-shirts, shorts, and a drive in this incredible yellow 2-door 1968 Dodge Dart GT Convertible.
This one truly is a beauty, and would be fun to cruise around in and catch a breeze.
This Dart has an excess of power. It features a 340 cu in 5.6 L V8 engine under that hood.
Fantastic back end. Looks like an ice cream sandwich. Super rectangular. I love how the tail lights are all nicely packaged in solid steel with chrome trim. Amazing.
It has an enormous trunk, one of the biggest I have seen. Only the 1968 Lincoln Continental rivals this one.
Lets turn this baby around and look at the front. Beautiful round headlights and a nice chrome grill and front bumper. Look at those air intakes. This Dodge Dart is one tough looking convertible.
The chrome encased windshield looks so good. I also love that chrome strip down the middle of the side of the car, and over the wheel well.
This 4th generation 1968 Dodge Dart is stunning.
Here is a look inside the cockpit. I notice it is a manual transmission, my goodness this must be a treat to drive.
And finally a few more looks at a slighter side angle of this magnificent automobile. The design…the craftsmanship…does Dodge have anything in its lineup today that could really compare?
So there you have it, a mint condition 1968 Dodge Dart Convertible found parked in Boulder, and begging to be driven away.
