After a week in Rome, it was time for a more relaxed scene, that of Lucca, Italy. What an amazing small town, West of Firenze. While cruising through the countryside on a bike ride, I stumbled across this bright Yellow Fiat 500L (Lusso) that was manufactured between 1968-1972.
Check it out, quite the bumble bee look, and an interesting unique touch with the added scorpions. The scorpions are the signature of the Fiat 500 Abarth model which in the modern era, as in today…is being heavily promoted.
I love the simplicity in design, and the animated look to the front end of the car.
The 500L was a new version that featured a modern interior and an updated dashboard. The goal was to provide more comfort and touch of style.
Interesting handles keeping that front hood shut.
Either a full load in the trunk, or perhaps those bungie cords are needed to keep it shut down.
The car was parked outside this house in a very lovely quiet hill town perhaps Balbano if I remember correctly.
Another scorpion on the rear hatch.
So, there you have it a very good condition Fiat 500L (Lusso) found near Lucca Italy.
